The Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program is looking for your solutions to help resolve defence and security challenges. IDEaS will support the development of solutions from their conceptual stage, through prototype testing and capability development.

Procurement Assistance Canada - Ontario Region  gets you a “glimpse behind the curtain” in this interactive workshop on the process used by federal government procurement officers to evaluate bids, award contracts, and purchase services.

In this session you will act as a Government of Canada Contracting Officer/Technical Authority. The exercise will be to evaluate sample bids against criteria from a fictitious tender, or RFP document. Improve your bidding strategies by learning:

  • some common mistakes bidders make, and how to avoid them;
  • how and when to ask questions; and
  • best practices for creating your own bids.

This session is designed for SME owners/representatives with bidding experience or those who have attended PAC Seminars in the past.

Toronto, ON - Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) - Ontario Region will host a collaborative webinar to support the growth and inclusion of businesses owned or led by persons with disabilities in partnership with CNIB Foundation, Canadian Hearing Services, RISEEmployment and Social Development Canada, the City of Toronto, and other partners. The expo will highlight socio-economic resources and information to support persons with disabilities and small businesses in the accessibility community.

This event will provide information about the basics of selling to the government of Canada and accessibility in federal procurement. Additionally, our government and community partners will provide information on the services offered by their organizations for persons with disabilities.
