Oakville, ON - Procurement Assistance Canada - Ontario Region in partnership with Halton Region, Peel Region, City of Toronto, City of Vaughan and Supply Ontario will host a Public Sector Buyer’s Expo: Connecting Buyers & Suppliers at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre. This in-person event will provide businesses an opportunity to meet with procurement officials to promote their business products and services and learn about procurement processes and opportunities. Businesses will hear about a variety of government procurement initiatives through engaging workshops and at the closing panel discussion will hear from businesses that have been successful in federal procurement.

Everyone is welcome to attend and to take advantage of the networking opportunities. Light lunch will be provided.

Toronto, ON - Procurement Assistance Canada, Ontario Region is organizing a Flood Hazard Identification and Mapping Program (FHIMP) Industry day. While Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is finalizing the first phase of the FHIMP, NRCan is expanding FHIMP activities under the National Adaptation Strategy. The FHIMP is a cost-shared program with provinces and territories to complete flood maps for higher-risk areas and disseminate this flood hazard information to the public.

 

On July 09, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT, NRcan will host a virtual “Industry Engagement Day” to present an update of FHIMP.

 

This session is open to all interested stakeholders, suppliers and associations involved in this Industry. NRCan will engage Industry in a discussion of the current scope of the program, highlighting successes from the first phase of FHIMP and providing updated program requirements and details.
